The King is not ready to abdicate his throne. Howard Stern, the self-proclaimed "King of All Media," has signed a new three-year agreement with SiriusXM, ensuring that his legendary voice will continue to anchor the satellite radio service through 2028.

The deal comes at a critical juncture for SiriusXM, which recently completed its merger with Liberty Media and executed a 1-for-10 reverse stock split. Stern remains the company's crown jewel, a singular talent whose loyal fanbase has been the bedrock of the platform's subscription model for nearly two decades.

While financial terms were not disclosed, industry analysts estimate the package to be consistent with his previous record-breaking contracts. But for Stern, at 71, the motivation seems to be less about the money and more about the microphone. "I love what I do," Stern said simply. And for millions of commuters and listeners, that is music to their ears.
